Our Mission, Vision and Philosophy
Mission
The mission of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the office, as set forth by the statutes of the State of Colorado, and to enforce state and local statutes and ordinances, dedicated to the principals of community oriented policing.
Vision
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office will proactively and continuously strive to demonstrate an unswerving commitment to the community as Law Enforcement professionals who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for and with the citizens of our community.
Philosophy
We must and will demonstrate the ethics and characteristics of leaders in our community and in the law enforcement profession. We perform the primary mission of this office by identifying, prioritizing, preventing, and solving community problems, through Law Enforcement, Detentions and Support Services.
We work for and with the citizens of our community as partners in the process of enhancing public safety in Lincoln County.
We uphold the belief that line deputies and civilian employees are key components to our collective success; employees serving in office staff positions serve to provide whatever support is necessary to ensure the success of front line deputies and civilians in the performance of their assigned duties.
We support ongoing improvements in organizational polices and procedures that strengthen our capacity and heighten our ability to serve citizens.
We protect the constitutional rights of all individuals.
